Lever Reizen Incentives booking Terms and Conditions for mediating tickets

By using our services, you are confirming your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Lever Reizen Incentives (hereinafter LRI). If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, we kindly request that you refrain from using our services. Bookings will neither be accepted nor confirmed unless you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

When an inquiry after our services results in a booking wit LRI, it confirms the acceptance of all of the clauses, and Terms and Conditions contained in this legal notice as described below.

The services of LRI consist of packages for all types of cultural and sports events held both in the Netherlands and abroad, specialising in events of great significance- and/or social repercussion, which are often more difficult to obtain.

LRI is a travel agent for (inter)national events that also specialises in obtaining tickets. Through our network of contacts and suppliers, we are able to obtain tickets for nearly every event, regardless of the location. All tickets will be sold at the final price fixed by the promoter, plus the dealing and management costs incurred by LRI.

We reserve the right to amend our Terms and Conditions at any stage at our own discretion. When LRI books an event for a client, our responsibility is limited to the ticket for the event. LRI is only responsible for the accommodation when LRI has organised said accommodation for the client as well.

Not all of the services which we provide are supplied by us. In these cases, the contract for the service will be between you and the third party who may have their own Terms and Conditions.

By “services” we refer to: LRI event tickets, any type of hospitality packages and other services referred to within these Terms and Conditions.

1. Making a booking

(a) All bookings are made with LRI directly, unless stated otherwise.
(b) Requests will be subject to a fully refundable deposit in the event that we are unable to confirm the request.
(c) When a reservation is made over the telephone, no contract shall exist until you have received a confirmation email, or whatsApp message from us. When you respond and agree to this email or app it means the client agrees and accepts LRI’s Terms and Conditions and the non-refundable deposit they are required to pay.
(d) There is no requirement for a signed hard copy of this agreement. By making a reservation via tele sales, you agree to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
(e) We reserve the right to terminate any contract, if the behaviour/conduct of the client or any member of their party either prior to- or during a trip is likely to endanger the safety or well-being of themselves or others. In the event of us terminating a contract, due to the behaviour or conduct of the client or any member of their party, there will be no refund to the client.
(f) In the event of damage to any accommodation in which you, or a member of your party has been staying in, you hereby agree to indemnify us against any claim (including legal costs) made against us arising from to the occurrence of such incidents.

2. The delivery of tickets:

LRI will proceed with the utmost care, contracting a reputable delivery service, so as to provide the client with the purchased tickets and complementary documentation in due time and form.

Tickets for all types of events are subject to availability. Due to the eventful and oftentimes fast-paced nature of our work, it can occur that tickets are supplied on the same day as the event. In the event of a purchase of several tickets for the same event, we cannot guarantee that they will be located next to each other, or in the same row or section.

However, LRI will not be responsible for the lack of deliverance caused by incomplete or erroneous information provided by the client or in case of force majeure.

It is the client’s responsibility to fulfil the terms of use, conditions and attire imposed by the venue, such as dress code.

3. Timetables and transportation:

The dates and times of the events are sometimes only confirmed 5-10 days prior to the event by the respective event organiser in the country where the event is held. It is the client’s responsibility to check the confirmed dates and times of the event. LRI will not be liable for any deviations in date or time from the original schedule. Furthermore, arranging proper transportation to the venue where the events are held, falls solely within the client’s responsibility as well.

3. Client obligations

(a) No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted to make a reservation with us (LRI). It falls solely within the client’s responsibility to confirm that all of the details of documentation are present and identical to the information on the receipt. In the event that you consider any documents or literature provided by us to be incorrect, you should notify us with any concerns via email at your earliest convenience.
(b) All bookings must be made under the same name as stated in the individual’s passport to avoid any confusion. The responsibility of possessing a valid passport and/or visa where necessary is the responsibility of each individual travelling with us.
(c) It falls solely within the responsibility of each individual to ensure they present themselves to their chosen point of departure for travel within the stated guidelines of the carrier.

4. Travel insurance

(a) We recommend that everyone who intends to travel, arranges travel insurance cover before you make a booking.
(b) Each individual who wishes to make a reservation via (LRI) must ensure they have a travel policy in place with a sufficient level of cover needed for their specific trip.
(c) If a reservation is made and the client does not have travel insurance in place, then all monies paid will be forfeit.

4. Payment methods

(a) Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. (Event tickets are paid for in advance by us to the event organiser and therefore must be paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable).
(b) A deposit for request bookings shall be required. This shall be payable at the rate of € 50 per person. Any deposit shall be refunded in full if we are unable to confirm the booking.
(c) If a reservation is put on request and confirmed, the deposit will no longer be refundable if the client decides not to travel as planned or does not travel

5. Price variation

All of our prices are in Euro and are calculated using the current rates of exchange at the time of publication. The cost may be subject to change due to the exchange rates. The cost of any particular trip may increase/decrease for this reason. We try to avoid this where possible.

6. Event tickets

All event tickets are non-transferable, and are valid only for your chosen selection. Where possible we will have all members of the same party seated together however this is not guaranteed. The majority of the LRI tickets allocation is for the home section only. The following are not permitted in the home section under any circumstances: colours, flags, signs or banners. We take no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets.

4. Impossibility of obtaining tickets:

If the tickets requested by the client cannot be obtained, LRI reserves the right to obtain tickets belonging to the first category above or below the requested category instead (with the consequent return of the proportional cost) depending on availability, or to cancel the purchase order with no further obligation than the return of the amount already paid.

LRI shall make every effort to obtain the ticket requested but cannot guarantee, in any way, that it will obtain said tickets from the promoter, or accept responsibility for any failure to do so. Should such a circumstance arise, LRI will have the obligation of returning the amount already paid for the tickets that could not be obtained.

In the event that LRI obtains the requested ticket(s) and the event is then cancelled, suspended or modified, this falls solely within the responsibility of the promoter. LRI will only commit itself to return the price of the ticket.

7. Event changes/cancellations

If the situation arises that an event may be changed or postponed, all monies paid shall be transferred to the new dates. All dates and kick-off times are subject to change due to TV commitments and it is the client’s responsibility to check whether any changes have been made. If the new date of the event does not suit the client, we do not offer a refund unless the client receives a refund from the organiser of the event. If the event has been cancelled, then any refunds due will be passed on directly to you. This will depend on the amount that has been refunded by the organiser.

8. Unforeseen circumstances

In the event of circumstances outside of our control such as: force majeure, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire or destruction of any vessel, craft or vehicle to be used in connection with your trip, riots, acts of war, civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other authority, strikes, industrial act, requisition of equipment, mechanical breakdown, shortage of fuel, insolvency or default of any carrier or service supplier connected with a holiday, fraud perpetrated against us or any other reason beyond the  control of LRI, Lever Reizen Incentives will be unable to offer a refund of any kind, unless we receive said refund from the organiser.

Force majeure, means unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the organiser, retailer or other suppliers of services, the consequences of which could not have been avoided or foreseen, even when all due care has been exercised.

9. Name changes

Name changes must be communicated and sent in writing via email or WhatsApp Message and are permitted up to two weeks before travel. They are subject to an additional charge per person.

10. Telesales reservations

All tele sales are on a request basis only. A booking deposit is required to request a reservation in certain cases as detailed in section 1 (c). An email in the form of a confirmed reservation will be sent to you by LRI, directly upon confirmation and the deposit paid shall be non-refundable after confirmation.

11. Complaints procedure

In the event that you need to make a complaint, please inform us immediately and we will try and rectify the problem. Complaints from the client must be made in writing. This must be received in writing via email or recorded post within 28 days of your return trip. We value your business and your satisfaction is important to us. All complaints will be investigated thoroughly and we shall endeavour to provide a solution.

12. Promotional offers/competitions

All promotional offers/discounts and competitions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without prior notice.

13. Jurisdiction

All terms/condition/agreements and performances are governed by the state of the Netherlands Jurisdiction and are subject to the Dutch Courts.

14. Liability

We are responsible for the event ticket only. We are in no way responsible for any additional expenses, distress, loss, damage, injury, inconvenience, delay, and/or accidents resulting from, or attributing to the act of default of any companies, firms or persons involved with the carrying out of such reservations or arrangements. Every booking is accepted subject to the events organisers concerned. Any claims with respect to such matters shall be made directly against the appropriate parties.

15. Good faith

I warrant and represent that all of the information provided by me is true and accurate, and that I have been authorized by all persons named on this booking form to execute this agreement on their behalf and accordingly, I sign my name both as their agent and on my own behalf.
